GIIPM PLACEMENT THE PLACEMENT COMMITTEE This committee is instrumental in interacting with the corporate world to secure final placement and summer assignments for the student Managers. The committee serves to create awareness about the institution in the industry, appraising it for what GIIPM has to offer in terms of managerial potential as well the quality of education and all round development imparted here which makes for successful performers. We privileged to be associated with many corporate houses, who have helped us in our various endeavors. ACADEMIC ORIENTATION GIIPM believes that it is vital for a student to have a strong focus on the subjects of study at any given time. In order to facilitate this curriculum is designed with a modular structure. This also makes it possible for students to opt electives that supplement their areas of interest and skills. GIIPM MODULAR CURRICULLAM A strong academic orientation lays the foundation for- long learning, ingraining in the youth the psyche of the eternal student. The orientation program enable to students to familiarize themselves with the teaching methodology and aids used in the classroom, use of in –campus facilities and services, library and lab use and other services. The programmes also focus on academic and personal counseling, equipping students to adjust to the GIIPM’s teaching model. Special foundation programmes are offered to foreign students who may be visiting India and who have to become acquainted with Indian culture, society and value so that they can adapt themselves to the local conditions without problems. GIIPM SCHOLARSHIP MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATON (MBA) Scholarship of Rs. 15,000/- Rs. 10,000/- and Rs. 5,000/- in the fee of second year to the student s of MBA & PGDPM securing First, Second and Third position respectively at GIIPM at the end of academic year is allowed. An added scholarship of Rs. 5,000/- will be given to each student in the second & third year securing a position in the merit list declare at university level. BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATON (BBA) Scholarship of Rs. 5,000/- Rs. 3,000/- and Rs. 2,000/- in the fee of second year to the student s of MBA & PGDPM securing First, Second and Third position respectively at GIIPM at the end of academic year is allowed. An added scholarship of Rs. 5,000/- will be given to each student in the second & third year securing a position in the merit list declare at university level. SPECIAL SCHOLORSHIP A special scholarship will be awarded to the ward of personal involved in the security of our country like- Army, Paramilitary and Police etc. Candidates with more than 90 Percentile in CAT OR MAT Test will be getting 50% discount in total fee. All the female candidate candidates will get a 15% scholarship in the 1st Year Fee. GIIPM CULTURE “An MBA professional need to have the technical know-how as well as softer skills. We have a leadership programme as a mandatory part of the MBA course which instills problem- solving, critical thinking, team – working and leadership skills among our students.”Divided into four modules the leadership programme is spread over the two- year MBA course.”In the First module, a psychometric testing of a candidate is done to know about his personality characteristics and to highlight the areas of generic skills that he needs to enhance during the course of his MBA studies. An academics counselor accordingly guides a student on what subjects he should study for his electives to suites his long term career goals. Leadership forums, where prominent industry representatives come and interact with the current and former student of the GIIPM forms the Second modules of the programme .The Third modules has leadership workshop which are basically participatory exercise, enabling candidates to lead effective work terms.
