“An MBA professional need to have the technical know-how as well as softer skills. We have a leadership programme as a mandatory part of the MBA course which instills problem- solving, critical thinking, team – working and leadership skills among our students.”Divided into four modules the leadership programme is spread over the two- year MBA course.”In the First module, a psychometric testing of a candidate is done to know about his personality characteristics and to highlight the areas of generic skills that he needs to enhance during the course of his MBA studies. An academics counselor accordingly guides a student on what subjects he should study for his electives to suites his long term career goals.
Leadership forums, where prominent industry representatives come and interact with the current and former student of the GIIPM forms the Second modules of the programme .The Third modules has leadership workshop which are basically participatory exercise, enabling candidates to lead effective work terms. The Fourth module focuses on professional development of business / career plan on how one is going to market self and achieve career goals.” We have a high quality of academic staff, with most of our faculty members being PhD’s, having an industrial experience and are active in research work.
